On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the Gospel, the historical fact that a man named Jesus who was the son of God, who lived a sinless life on earth for 33 years, who was brutally beaten and crucified on the cross in doing so becoming the atonement, the propitiation for our sins, resurrected from the dead and left an empty tomb as proof. But do we understand what the cross accomplished for us?
